“Believe in Life” is the last of the six movements of “The Gift of Life”, an extended work written in 2015. The texts reflect different facets of the miracles of creation and of life. The work was commissioned by a church in Dallas as a tribute to the retirement of their Minister of Music. This arrangement for combined Concert Band and Chorus, which may be performed by band alone, is presented both as a complete work of six movements, and also as six individual pieces.
